Struggled yesterday to finish Chapter 3 . . . I have been writing on it, off and on, for about four days . . . Much too much on my mind . . . I wish I was one of those people who can compartmentalize . . .
I will be back on the story, Chapter 4 today, trying to find the necessary momentum to get into the guts of the story . . . Joe will be in the middle of the devastation Katrina has brought . . .
